Thank you for your interest in playing at Sweetwater Bar and Grill, voted 2010 & 2011 Best Outside The Perimeter Music Club by Creative Loafing Atlanta. Though we sincerely appreciate any artists/bands that would like to perform for us, due to the volume of requests, please fit the following criteria before filling out this form (all others will be deleted)...
- A full-scale band (no acoustic acts) with all members at least 18 years of age.
- Based in the metro-Atlanta area (or within an hour of Duluth, Georgia).
- Can play at least 40 minutes of original music (no cover bands)
- Somewhere close to the genre of "rock" (no commercial-style hip-hop, R&B, jazz, or country)
New bands and musicians should visit Open Mic Thursdays as the quickest means of landing a weekend show. Our host Taymin runs a supportive, diverse evening of local music, and he communicates with me weekly about performances and recommendations.
